After almost 20 years as a member of the Liberal Democrats, in 2010, especially after the Libdems colluded with the Conservatives, I joined the Labour Party again, having previously been a member in the 1980s.

Since then, I have taken an active interest in the Labour Party both nationally and locally and have helped the campaign team in several elections since.

In 2015, I became a Redruth Town Councillor and very much enjoyed my work there, until I decided to leave in 2019 owing to other commitments and a period of ill health.

I am now beginning to take an active part again in our local party, as Treasurer, and look forward to our CLP becoming a strong force once more to serve our community.
